The more I hear about newspapers’ plummeting circulation, the more I think their eventual demise — at least in their current form — is inevitable. My love for newspapers sent me to journalism school. But I don’t subscribe to one and likely never will. Why would I when I can get a better variety of news and information from the Internet for free? The future of newspapers is probably in free urban giveaways directed at commuters, like Metro and amNewYork.
