Remembering Rosa Parks

Several years ago at Madame Tussaud’s in Times Square, I was admiring a wax figure of a stoic Rosa Parks sitting at a bus stop when I realized I was in the way of someone taking a picture. I swiveled around and apologized, but it turned out it was just a wax figure of Annie Leibovitz.

What were you expecting my Rosa Parks story to be? That I marched with her in Selma?
